This module allows you to plan your crew's embarkation, crew changes and rotations. From the planner overview, you can track every crew member's activities in an easy-to-use and detailed calendar format.

Planning Overview

Allows you to view the crew planning that has been carried out in the system. Make date adjustments here that will automatically update the Activity records as well.

Rotation Planning

For all the ranks that need to be relieved in the course of the next few months, the Rotation Planner is able to suggest the best suited candidates for the position. Using the Planner, you can effectively plan personnel for a fleet, a group of vessels or a single vessel.

The Planner will help you:

• Find the vacancies that need to be filled.
• Propose person(s) that match the specified criteria and requirements.
• Carry out Rotation Planning

You can carry out crew selection based on the proposed personnel and approve them. The Planner will enable you to then, follow up with regards to the required documents, for example, travel documents and track the progress till the personnel is on board.

Using the Rotation Planner, the Crew Manager can concentrate on scheduling the right person with the right competence for the right ship at the right time. Crew changes become more predictable and efficient – avoiding unpleasant surprises for the existing onboard crew, and ensuring that their relievers join on time as planned.

Rotation Planning enables assigned personnel to be aware ahead of time of the rotation schedule in order for them to be ready on the stipulated date and to free themselves from other commitments during the assigned period.

Crew Embarkation

This feature consists of a manual checklist enabling you to verify that the crew members meet all the necessary requirements before signing on to a vessel.

Staff Strength

Using this feature you can see an overview of your fleet strength i.e. total staff onboard vs staff on vacation based on a certain date. You can also calculate your staff surplus or staff shortage based on your fleet size.

Planned Crew Change

Using this feature you can create a listing of crew members who will be signing off and also check if relievers have been set for them.

Crew Change History

This feature lists all past crew change records that have been created in the System.
