The Crew IPN Prefix Register allows a manning agent to define a certain prefix for its crew for identification purpose. The prefix will be appended to the front of a crew IPN as a result. Whenever a company which is of a 'manning agent' type is created in the System, a record will be automatically created here for assignment of crew IPN prefix. Therefore, no creation and deletion is applicable.

You will find this crew IPN code used throughout the application. This prefix code field is automatically generated whenever a new crew is registered using the Crew Profile feature. This value consists of a sequentially generated number which cannot be edited in the Crew Profile. The same crew IPN prefix will be used for all crew members that are of the same nationality and manning agent.

You will not be able to edit the Manning Agent Code or Description but you can set the prefix in the Prefix field. Click the Prefix field and enter the prefix that is to be used.
