Manage Job Vacancies |
This function allows you to list the current job vacancies that are available in the company. Applicants will then be able to submit their application based on these available vacancies. As the vacancy is tied to a particular Rank, the Licenses and Trainings required in order to apply for that Rank are those which your System Administrator has set up under the Recruitment Setup sub module in the Administration module.
Note: You can also create more than one job vacancy for the same rank. Use the Job Description field to differentiate these same jobs; for example, you can create two job vacancies for a ‘Master’ valid for the same date range but specify in the ‘Job Description’ that one job requires a ‘Master with experience working on Oil Tankers’ and another requires a ‘Master with experience on any vessel type’.
Note: You can also have specific job application links for different groups of applicants. When creating jobs on the Job Posting screen, you can specify the pool to which applications will be routed. Companies can then display different links on their website based on the pools created. When an applicant applies for a job using a certain link, his application will be automatically routed to that specific pool.
